At the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Vacuum and Surface Science, held at Big Palette Fukushima, and at the Young Researchers Session, held at Keio University, D2 Kamigaito and Chikamatsu delivered presentations.

At the 87th Autumn Meeting of the Japan Society of Applied Physics, held on the Sapporo Campus of Hokkaido University, D2 Kamigaito delivered an oral presentation, and M2 Tsuiji and M1 Kasahara presented their posters.

A paper on sign‑reversal magnetoresistance in double‑perovskite cobalt oxides has been published in Journal of Materials Chemistry C. This work is the result of a collaboration with Tokyo University of Science and NIMS.

As a 2026 FWIP Exchange Student, Ms. Priyanku Nath, a second‑year doctoral student from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, has been assigned to the Chikamatsu Laboratory. Her stay will be from August 2026 to January 2027.
