M2 Tsuiji presented her research in an oral session at the 73rd JSAP Spring Meeting, held on the Ookayama Campus of Science Tokyo.

At the Future with India Program Kick-off Symposium, held at the Ochanomizu University International Student Plaza, D1 Kamigaito delivered a research presentation representing Ochanomizu University.

At the 4th Inter‑University Chemistry Symposium — jointly organized by Gakushuin University, Japan Women’s University, Ochanomizu University, and Rikkyo University — held on the Ikebukuro Campus of Rikkyo University, D1 Kamigaito and M1 Tsukiji gave poster presentations.

Chikamatsu delivered an invited lecture titled “Recent Developments in Oxyfluoride Thin-Film Research” at the 2025 Young Researchers Seminar of the Nanotechnology Center, Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research, Osaka University

At the 19th Fluorine Chemistry Seminar held at Honokuni Toyohashi Arts Theatre PLAT, Chikamatsu gave an invited lecture. At the 48th Fluorine Chemistry Discussion Meeting, D1 Kamigaito delivered an oral presentation, while M2 Nakano, M2 Hagiwara, and M1 Tsukiji presented posters.

The paper on the fabrication of lead oxyfluoride epitaxial thin films has been published in J. Mater. Chem. C. This work is the result of a collaborative research effort with Hokkaido University. “Fluoride-target-assisted growth of Pb2OF2 oxyfluoride films with anion ordering and high dielectric constant”

Chikamatsu gave an invited talk titled “Topochemical fluorination of barium-substituted bismuth ferrate thin films” at The 20th Industry-Academia Collaboration Subcommittee of the Fluorine Chemistry Society of Japan held at Waim Ochanomizu in Tokyo.

D1 Kamigaito gave presentations at both the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Vacuum and Surface Science and its Young Researchers’ Session, held respectively at the Tsukuba International Congress Center and the University of Tsukuba.

Nana Suzuki, a fourth-year student in the Department of Chemistry, has been assigned as our member for the second half of FY2025. I look forward to working with her.
