Basic spirits of our research
We have a wide interest in physical phenomena in general, and we aim at conducting research based on curiosity freely across academic disciplines. To be more specific, we focus on soft matter physics, chemical physics, and sometimes problems related to biology. However, if we come across an attractive problem, we perform curiosity-driven research regardless of our experience. Our academic background ranges from quantum field theory and non-equilibrium quantum statistical physics to scaling phenomenology and computers simulation.

基本精神
自然現象全般に広く関心を持ち、学問分野の垣根を越えて自由に好奇心に基づいて研究していきたいと思っています。もう少し限定すると、ソフトマター物理、化学物理の周辺で、時には生物に関連した問題などを研究の対象としていくつもりですが、魅力的な問題に出会ったならば、好奇心をバネに過去の経験を問わずにその問題に取り組んでいきたいと思っています。学問的背景としては、場の理論や非平衡量子統計物理の手法を特徴とし、必要に応じて、スケーリング現象論や計算機を使った研究も行います。
